Browser PDF Editor is a free, client-side web application that allows users to view, edit, and manipulate PDF files directly in their browser. All file processing occurs locally on the user's device using JavaScript and the PDF.js library. No files are uploaded to any server.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for the content of any PDF files you edit using the Service.
- You must not use the Service to edit, create, or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or exploit the Service in any way.
- You must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
4. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by Browser PDF Editor. You retain all rights to any PDF files you edit using the Service. We claim no ownership over your documents.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- All PDF features and formats will be fully supported
- Edited files will be compatible with all PDF readers
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Browser PDF Editor shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Since all file processing occurs client-side, we have no access to, control over, or responsibility for your documents.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in competent courts.
